Spiral asymmetric baskets - 18th -19th March 2023
Spend a relaxing weekend making these contemporary baskets with a Polish-style asymmetric border. Building on past experience, or suitable for beginners, you will be guided through the steps and techniques, learning different weaves to create texture and pattern. Using colourful varieties of willow, each basket will be unique.

Hawkwood College - Stroud
Beginners basket making - 12th March 2023
Make a stake-and-strand style basket, spending a therapeutic day in the gorgeous surroundings of Hawkwood learning the basics of basketry and going home with a round basket suitable for fruit or storing items around the home. Weave with different varieties of Somerset willow, adding colour and contrast, and add a handle if time. Tailored for beginners or for those with some experience who wish to build on their skills.
